In January 2005 Thomas was invited to Tottenham Hotspur and played for it up till 2013. He spent six months on loan in Wolverhampton Wanderers. While performing for Spurs, the footballer made both starts and sub appearances. In 2010 the footballer signed a contract with the club till 2015.
In 2013, after making 188 appearances for Spurs, Huddlestone completed a transfer to Hull City in a record deal for the Tigers worth £5.25m.
From 2009 Huddlestone was capped for the Three Lions, but he was let on the pitch only four times.
