Toshihiro Aoyama. Biography

Toshihiro Aoyama is a Japanese footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the J-League. He was born on 22 February 1986 in Kurashiki, Japan.

Toshihiro began his professional career at Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2004 and plays for the club till today. In his debut season he made only one league cup appearance but even managed to score. The next season Aoyama was predominantly used as a backup player as well. But in the 2006 campaign he cemented his position in the starting lineup. In 2008, Aoyama was an instrumental player as his side won the Japanese Super Cup. In 2012, he helped them to win the J. League Division 1 title for the first time in their history.
