A Brazilian footballer Vinícius Oliveira Franco is a midfielder of APOEL Nicosia. Franco was born on 16 May 1986.
Vinícius started his professional career at União São João in 2004. Before the contract was penned, the footballer had played for the club’s youth side. The following two years Oliveira spent performing for the reserve team of Porto, but during this period the player was loaned to several other clubs.
In 2006, Franco was bought out by Nacional. The second half of the 2006/2007 season would find the footballer serving loan to União da Madeira. The temporary club made the move permanent, signing Oliveira to a season-long contract. The 2007/2008 season was lined with three goals racked up in 27 matches.
In 2008, Vinícius opted to join Aves, where he remained until 2010. In total, the midfielder amassed six goals in 46 games. In 2010, he was transferred to Olhanense. In a year, a new contract was agreed with SC Braga. Hardly had Oliveira put pen to paper of the contract, when he was almost immediately loaned by Beira-Mar. In the summer 2012, Vinícius joined a Portuguese side Moreirense on loan.
Upon returning from the loan spell the footballer joined a Cypriot side APOEL.
