Vitaliy Lysytskyi is a defender of Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih. He was born on 16 April 1982 in Svitlovodsk, Ukraine.
Vitaliy is a product of Dynamo Kyiv’s youth system, where in a relatively short period of time he managed to stand on his own feet and become a worthy representative of the academy. Lysytskyi finished his youth career in 1997, when he was offered to join the main team. The young back penned his first professional contract with Dynamo Kyiv, officially becoming a player of the club’s first squad for the next five years. This period in Vitaliy’s career was not quite easy, as he had to spend most of the time as a substitute, earning only 13 first team appearances and netting 2 goals during five seasons.
In 2002 FC Chornomorets Odesa welcomed Lysytskyi into the fold. For two seasons he was a regular fixture in the starting lineup, contributing two goals in 27 matches for the club. In 2004 Vitaliy moved to Dnipro and stayed there for three seasons. In this period of time, he became one of the pillars of the club’s defensive line, getting a lot of opportunities to make starts. In all, Lysytskyi took part in 70 games and scored 4 goals for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
In 2007 Vitaliy signed a professional contract with Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, according to which the footballer has been playing for the club up till now. He has made more than 100 outings with 3 goals.
From 2001 till 2002 Lysytskyi took part in 5 matches of the Ukraine national senior squad.
