Vladimir Stojković is a goalkeeper, born on 28 July 1983 in Loznica, Serbia.
In 2000, Vladimir received an invitation to join the academy of Serbian top-flight Red Star and left the youth system of local FK Loznica.
In 2001, the footballer put pen to paper of a professional contract with ‘The Red & Whites’ and made two appearances for the club during three years.
After his contract with Red Star expired in 2004, Stojković transferred to Zemun and showed stellar performance in 34 fixtures, which helped him to return to his previous team. The keeper featured in 21 matches for Crvena Zvezda and completed a move to French side Nantes, where he faced high competition for a regular place between the posts and took part only in ten games during one season.
From 2007 till 2010, Vladimir played for Sporting CP, Getafe and Wigan Athletic, but made only 18 appearances for the clubs during his spells. In 2011, the footballer sealed a deal with Partizan and featured in 79 games for ‘The Black & Whites’.
In 2014 the goalkeeper moved to a Greek side Ergotelis.
From 2006, Stojković has been capped 50 times for the Serbia national squad.
