Yannick Djaló is a Portuguese striker under contract with Benfica. He was born on 5 May 1986 in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau.
Yannick was formed in the youth academy of Sporting CP in between 2001 and 2005. He made his professional debut for the Portuguese club in a match against Paços de Ferreira in September 2006. Overall, Djaló recorded two cups, two supercups and two league cups together with Sporting. While a player of the club he also had a season-long spell at lower-league side Casa Pia in the 2005/06 campaign.
In January 2012, Djaló joined prominent Benfica though in the summer he was sent on loan to a French Ligue 1 side Toulouse FC for a season. In 2014 he played for a US club San Jose Earthquakes.
Yannick Djaló represented Portugal at U19, U20 and U21 levels. In September 2012, he earned his first full cap to the national team in a Euro 2012 qualifier against Cyprus.
