Youssef El-Arabi is a Moroccan footballer who currently plays as a striker for Granada in the Spanish top league. He was born on 3 February 1987 in Caen, France.
Youssef began his senior career with his hometown side Caen in 2008. He made his professional debut in a Ligue 1 match against Lyon. The following season El-Arabi became a fantastic asset for the club as he scored 11 goals in 34 matches. Overall, the Moroccan amassed 28 goals in 79 games for Caen during his three-year spell there. In the 2011/12 campaign, he transferred to Saudi Arabian team Al-Hilal were he showed prominent results scoring 16 goals in 27 appearances. In 2012, El-Arabi left for Spain where he joined La Liga side Granada and plays there today.
Youssef El-Arabi is capped to the Morocco national team since 2010. He scored his maiden goal against Senegal in August 2011.
