Yūichi Komano. Biography

Yūichi Komano is a Japanese defender currently playing for Júbilo Iwata in the J-League. He was born on 25 July 1981 in Kainan, Japan.

Yūichi began his professional career at Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2000. His strong performances shortly earned him a regular position in the starting line-up. However, Komano was plagued with injuries throughout his eight-year spell at the club. But he managed to make 191 league appearances for the period. In 2008, Komano moved to Júbilo Iwata and plays for the club to date.

In between 2000 and 2002, Yūichi Komano was capped to the Japan U20 and U23 teams. Since 2005, he is regularly kept to the senior Japanese side.
