Yuzo Kurihara. Biography

Yuzo Kurihara is a Japanese defender who plays for Yokohama F. Marinos in the J. League Division 1. He was born on 18 September 1983 in Seya-ku, Japan.

Yuzo was groomed at the youth academy of Yokohama F. Marinos in between 1996 and 2001. In 2002, he joined the first team of his feeder club and plays there to date. At his early days, Kurihara was predominantly used as a backup player and little playing timein the league. However, he gradually established himself as a prominent player and since the 2006 season, the defender cemented his place in the staring eleven.

In 2003, Yuzo Kurihara got two caps to the Japan U-20 team. Since 2006, he is capped to the senior Japanese side.
