Zheng Zheng. Biography

Zheng Zheng is a Chinese defender who plays for Shandong Luneng in the Chinese top league. He was born on 11 July 1989 in Jinan, China.

A product of Shandong Luneng youth system, Zheng Zheng joined the first team of the club in 2008. However, he made his professional debut only in March 2010 in a match against Pohang Steelers. Zheng Zheng was an instrumental figure during the 2010 season as he helped his team to win the Chinese Super League title. Thanks to his outstanding performances in that year, Zheng Zheng was named the Chinese Football Association Young Player of the Year.

Zheng Zheng was awarded his first cap to the China national team in a match against United Arab Emirates on 6 October 2011.
