Jagiellonia Białystok is a football club in Poland, located in Białystok. It was founded in 1920 and in more recent time, starting in 1970s, the team competed mostly in I Liga.
In the period between 1987 and 1990 and in the 1992/93 season Jagiellonia played in Ekstraklasa. The team proved itself in the top level in 2007 and since then they haven’t left the top division.
In 2011 Jagiellonia finished the league on the fourth place, in 2010 they won the Polish Cup and the Polish SuperCup titles at the expense of Pogoń Szczecin and Lech Poznań respectively.
The Białystok City Stadium, which has been used by Jagiellonia is under reconstruction. It will be for 22,500 spectators, though before upgrading it held 6000 visitors.
