Jürgen Klinsmann was born in Göppingen, Germany in 1964. Currently he coaches the USA national football team.
Jürgen Klinsmann started his youth playing career in TB Gingen, then he played for SC Geislingen and Stuttgarter Kickers, where he went on with professional career at the age of 16. In 1984 he moved to VfB Stuttgart, where he spent five seasons.
Since 1989 he played for different European clubs, such as Internazionale, Monaco, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Sampdoria. Klinsmann finished his career in American Orange County Blue Star in 1998.
His international career started in West Germany U-16, and then he played for West Germany U-21, West Germany Olympic. From 1987 to 1998 Klinsmann had 108 caps for Germany and scored 47 goals.
In 2004 Klinsmann headed the German national football team and faced a lot of criticism, though he had improved the team’s performance, which was shown in the 2006 World Cup. Klinsmann refused to renew his contract with the national team and the season 2008/09 he headed Bayern Munich. In July 2011 he took charge of the USA national team.
