Kari Martonen is a football manager from Finland. He was born in 1963 and spent his playing career in HJK (1982-1989) and FC Haka (1990-1996). All in all he made 248 league appearances and scored 22 goals.
In 2001 Martonen took up coaching the youth team of FC Haka, and then he was an assistant manager at the senior team between 2006 and 2009. In 2010 he was appointed the head coach of JJK. Along with working at football club he had been the assistant manager of the Finland U21 team since 2007. In April 2010 he was named the Coach of the Month.
In the summer 2013 Martonen left the club and kept on working with the national outh team.
