Kenny Jackett is a retired Welsh footballer, currently managing Wolverehampton Wanderers. He was born in 1962 in Watford, England, and spent the entire playing career at Watford. He joined the first team in 1980 and helped them to finish Division One runners-up. He played for Watford until 2010 and when Jackett was 28 he retired due to a knee injury. He represented the Wales national team from 1982 to 1988 and earned 31 caps.
Having retired form playing, Kenny Jackett took over Watford. The 1996/97 season he was the manager but then returned to assisting role. Then he worked at Queens Park Rangers, where he was as assistant manager, and in 2004 Jackett took over managerial work at Swansea City. During his first season he helped his side to get promotion from League Two and win the FAW Premier Cup.
From March to November 2007 he was the manager of Manchester City and then left the club to guide Millwall.
In 2008/09, he led the team to the 2009 Football League One play-off Final, in 2009/10 they were promoted to the Championship after successful play-offs.
At the end of 2012/2013 season Jackett resigned from Millwall and switched for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
