A Spanish footballer Aarón Ñíguez Esclápez performs as a midfielder for Elche. Aarón was born on 26 April 1989 in Elche.
In 2006, after he’d graduated from the youth academy of Valencia, Ñíguez penned a pro contract with the club. He was selected for the reserve team, where he could get enough playing experience to perform for the main squad. The 2006/2007 season was lined with four goals netted in 29 matches for the B team. In 2007, the midfielder was promoted to the club’s main team. Nevertheless, he made no appearances at all for the squad.
In 2007, Ñíguez agreed on a temporary deal with Xerez. He made eight appearances for the team and moved on loan to Iraklis. The rest of the 2007/2008 season was lined with three goals netted in 12 matches. From 2008 to 2011, Aarón Ñíguez served loans to numerous clubs; among them were Rangers, Celta and Recreativo. The total number of appearances made during that time was 42.
In the summer 2011, the player signed for Almería. The head coach counted on him as on a first-choice midfielder in the nearest future. Aarón succeed in producing a solid performance and the coach gave him a lot of playing time. In total, he appeared 47 times and was lucky to find net four times. In 2013, a move to Elche happened.
On international level, Aarón Ñíguez used to play for the Spain national youth teams at U-16, U-17, U-19, U-20 and U-21 levels. He netted 25 goals in 52 matches for the national side from 2004 to 2009.
