An Egyptian footballer Ahmed Samir plays as a fullback for Zamalek. Samir was born on 3 October 1981 in El-Mahalla.
In 1997, Ahmed entered the academy of Baladeyet El-Mahalla and his youth career began. In 2000, the footballer earned the promotion to the club’s senior side, where he stayed during the season. In 2001, Samir signed for Zamalek. He got the taste of trophy-winning, when his team became the winner of the 2003 Arab Champions League and twice the champion of the Premier League.
In 2004, the player opted to join Haras El-Hadod. In 2008, Ahmed penned a contract with Lierse. He stayed at the club until 2010, netting 6 goals in 45 matches. In 2010, Samir returned to the former club El Zamalek.
In 2008, Ahmed debuted for the Egypt full side.
