A Spanish footballer Airam López Cabrera acts as a striker for CD Lugo. Airam was born on 21 October 1987 in Puerto de la Cruz.
López went from the youth department of Tenerife. He spent several years performing for the club’s youth team at various levels (from U-13 to U-19 level). After progressing on Tenerife’s youth categories, the striker made his senior debut for the reserve side. In 2007, a contract for a term of three years was penned. Airam was loaned out by Laguna the same year. The head coach wanted him to get more playing practice and that’s why sent him on loan. Indeed, the footballer displayed an exceptional performance during the very first season. He amassed 17 goals in 38 games for the temporary club. After returning to Tenerife, he continued performing for the reserves. Altogether, the player appeared 74 times and scored 51 balls.
In the summer 2010, a deal was finalized with Villarreal. López Cabrera joined the B team and defended it for almost two years. The stint was lined with nine balls scored in 48 matches. In 2012, the striker had a short contract with Córdoba and moved to Numancia. The rest of the 2012/2013 season was lined with 12 appearances made. In 2013, Airam opted to sign a contract with Lugo from the Spanish second division.
