A Bissau-Guinean footballer Bocundji Ca was born on 28 December 1986 in Biombo. He is a defensive midfielder of Reims.
In 1999, at the age of 13 he was spotted by Bordeaux and drafted into their youth academy. But very soon he changed the club for Nantes, where he spent the last years of his youth career. In 2004, a professional contract was signed and Bocundji was promoted to the first team. He made his senior debut on 15 January 2005 in a match against Rennes. Despite good playing skills and favorable start, the rest of the season the halfback spent on the bench. That entailed his loan to Tours. After featuring in 15 fixtures of the temporary club, he got an offer to become a permanent player. Bocundji agreed to pen a contract and made 35 appearances for the squad.
On 31 May 2009, a three-year contract was signed with Nancy. After only a year he was sent on loan to his previous club Tours. On 26 July a deal with Stade de Reims was finalized. Ca managed to take place in the starting line-up almost at once and during the first season scored one goal in 22 matches.
In 2010, Ca was caped for the Guinea-Bissau national team for the first time.
