Borys Tashchy is a Ukrainian midfielder born on July 26, 1993in Odesa, Ukraine.
The product of Chornomorets Odesa youth system, Borys started out his professional career with the club in the summer of 2009. The footballer made his first appearance for the club in September of the same year and marked his appearance with two goals. In the 2010/11 season, Chornomorets slumped to the First Ukrainian League and Tashchy was given even more playing time. Thanks to his help Chornomorets took the second place by the end of the season thus earning promotion to the Premier League again. Borys took the pitch in 23 games scoring 5 goals and also took part in the Ukrainian Cup tournament.
The Ukrainian attracted the interest of Manchester United but at that time Borys was not of age yet. As a result the transfer wasn’t accomplished because of the moving permission problems.
In 2011, Tashchy switched to the Russian side Dynamo Moscow. However, due to high competition in the club he couldn’t break into the starting-line up and was then loaned to his feeder club Chornomorets Odesa in 2012.
Borys Tashchy came up through all the youth ranks of the Ukraine national team from U16 to U21. Since 2012, he is capped to the Ukraine U21 squad.
