Brian Jensen is a Danish goalkeeper. He was born on 8 June 1975 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Brian spent last three years of his youth career in the academy of B.93, where he managed to get ready for a senior start. In 1993, the footballer penned his first professional contract with the club and began to train with the main squad. However, Jensen was given the role of a second-choice keeper, and he made only two appearances for B.93 during four years.
In 1997, the keeper completed a move to Dutch side AZ, but went on loan to Hvidovre at once. Brian took part only in one fixture for the temporary team before returning to his parent Alkmaar Zaanstreek, where he featured in one game during two years.
In 2000, the footballer was offered a move to English side West Bromwich Albion, and he accepted the offer without hesitation, because that was a golden opportunity to show his talent. Jensen eventually got more playing time and featured in 46 matches for ‘The Baggies’ during three seasons.
In the summer 2003, Burnley secured the keeper’s services and saw him make 310 appearances for the club. In 2013 Jensen was released from Burnley. Later on the 38-year old joined Bury and Crawley Town.
