Bruno Gabriel Soares is a Brazilian defender who plays for Fortuna Düsseldorf. He was born on 21 August 1988 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Bruno began his youth career in Brazil. From 2007 to 2008 the footballer played with the juniors of Coritiba FC. He spent the 2008/2009 season in the youth squad of Paraná Clube.

In 2009 Bruno Soares signed a professional contract with MSV Duisburg. During his 2009-2012 spell at the club he registered 68 appearances and scored 4 goals.

In the summer of 2012 Soares completed a move to Fortuna Düsseldorf.
