Chris Martin is a striker of Norwich City. He was born on 4 November 1988 in Norwich, England.
In 2006 Chris was offered to join the main team of Norwich City and pen a contract with the club after he graduated from its academy. Martin accepted the offer the same year and became a professional player, which gave him a real opportunity to get to the higher level. The performance in the starting XI helped the footballer in achieving that, but at first he had to adapt to the new surroundings, and his appearances on the field were rather occasional.
In 2008 the club management decided to send the footballer on loan and Chris became a temporary player of Luton Town, where he performed during one season. Martin gained the confidence of the head coach, who made the striker the key player of attack line for his entire spell. Chris made 40 appearances and amassed 11 goals before returning to his parent Norwich City, where he continued to make encouraging display and take active part in the games of ‘The Canaries’.
In the summer 2011, Martin went on a one-year loan to Crystal Palace, where he made 26 games and fired seven goals. After the end of his spell, the footballer returned to Norwich City but went for another loan spell with Derby County.
