Daniel Mobaeck is a defender who plays for Elfsborg. He was born on 22 May 1980 in Åtvidaberg, Sweden.
Daniel played for the junior team of Kalmar, before signing a professional contract with the Swedish club in 1997. From 1997 to 2005 he registered 189 appearances and scored 47 goals for Kalmar. Daniel acquired a reputation as a versatile footballer, because he could play as a defender or midfielder. He often supported the team in the attack by making skillful passes and scoring goals.
On 1 January 2005 Mobaeck moved to Elfsborg. The footballer quickly earned the head coach’s trust and was regularly placed into the starting lineup. Since 2007 he has been a first-team regular at Elfsborg. From 2007 to 2012 Mobaeck featured in 190 matches and netted 16 goals for the club.
In 2007 the footballer made his debut for the Sweden national team and registered 3 appearances on the international level.
