Dean Moxey is a defender, born on 14 January 1986 in Exeter, England.
In 2003, Dean graduated from the academy of local Exeter City and received an invitation to the main squad of the club. The footballer did not hesitate to accept the invitation and put pen to paper of his first professional contract in the summer the same year, which gave him the right to make occasional appearances for the team. Moxey impressed during the 2003/2004 pre-season training and gained the manager’s confidence, thus clinching a regular place in the starting line-up. The defender took part in 176 fixtures and amassed 21 goals for Exeter City during six years.
In the summer 2009, Dean transferred to Derby County, but failed to become a pivot. However, he fired two goals in 52 matches for ‘The Rams’ during two seasons.
In 2011, the footballer sealed a deal with Crystal Palace and managed to make 103 appearances for ‘The Glaziers’ during three seasons. In the summer 2014 he moved to Bolton Wanderers.
In 2008, Moxey was capped four times for England C.
