A Brazilian footballer Denis César de Matos acts as a goalkeeper for São Paulo. Denis was born on 14 April 1987.
In 2002, Denis entered the academy of Ponte, where the 4 years of his youth career passed. In 2006, the goalkeeper was taken to the first squad. In 2008, the club got their hands on the silver ware in the Paulista Championship.
In 2009, César was hired by São Paulo. He debuted for the new squad immediately after the deal had been finalized. He came on the field as a sub for Rogério Ceni, who was kept away from the game with the injury. Denis took the advantage of the opportunity and revealed his potential. The young player is intended to take the place of the first-choice keeper in future. He continues to make quite frequent appearances for the team.
