Denys Kulakov is a professional midfielder currently playing for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC. He was born on May 1, 1986 in Donetsk, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union.
The young footballer started training to play football at Kharkiv UFK in 2000 and in 2002 moved to Shakhtar Donetsk. In 2003 the midfielder was transferred to Shakhtar-2 Donetsk and began to play for Shakhtar-3 Donetsk.
In 2006 Denys Kulakov was loaned to Illichivets Mariupol FC for one season and was the scorer of one goal in 27 games.
The first half of the 2007/2008 season the midfielder spent on loan at Vorskla Poltava FC and became such an essential part of the team that the club decided to sign a contract with Denys Kulakov in 2008. Over the 3 season he stayed with the club, the footballer featured in 85 matches and made 5 goals.
In the summer of 2011 Denys Kulakov joined Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC playing in the Premier League of the Ukraine.
From 2003 Denys Kulakov represented the Ukraine internationally as one of the national U17, U18, U19, U20 and U21 football team players. In 2010 he was called up to play for the National Football Team of the Ukraine.
