Denys Shelikhov is a professional Ukrainian football goalkeeper playing for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC. He was born on June 23, 1989 in Kherson, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union.
He trained to play football in Kyiv at the youth sports school 15 and was coached by Alexander Paseka. In 2003 the footballer took part in a few games as one of the teammates of Systema-Borex Borodianka FC, playing at the youth league of the Ukraine.
In 2007 Denys Shelikhov moved to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC. At first he played in the reserve team of the club and in 2009 was loaned to Dnipro-75 Dnipropetrovsk FC, performing in the Ukrainian Second League.
In 2010 the goalkeeper was listed with the fist string of Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC in the Ukrainian Premier League, but never showed on the pitch. In 2012 he went on loan to Volyn Lutsk FC and it was the first club in the Ukrainian Premier League he actually played for.
In 2012 Denys Shelikhov returned to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC.
Internationally, Denys Shelikhov played for the Ukraine National U21 Football Team in 2009.
