Eduardo Rodrigues Souza, or Dudu, is a forward of Beira-Mar. He was born on 20 September 1991 in Guararapes, Brazil.
Dudu emerged through different Brazilian youth academies before he drew the attention of the Flamengo academy where he finished his football formation. From 2009 to 2010 before starting professional football career the young footballer in took part in training sessions and exhibition matches with the youth team of his age. One year was enough for Dudu to convince the head coach that he was ready to play for the main team. However instead of joining to Flamengo main squad he switched to Corinthians Alagoano where he was invited in 2011.
At the beginning of 2011 Dudu signed his first professional contract officially moving to Corinthians Alagoano. His career in this team was not a success because the footballer failed to come on the pitch. However he caught the eye of the oversea football club Beira-Mar from Portugal. In the summer 2011 Dudu accepted the offer of this team which plays in the Portugal Primeira Liga. The footballer signed his professional contract which would run for several years. In his debut season the Brazilian managed to show his best qualities of the centre forward in several matches.
