Fabien Robert is a striker of Lorient. He was born on 6 January in Hennebont.
Robert used to attend football academy of Lanester before moving to Lorient. He succeeded in playing for U-18 team and made an impressive appearance in Championnat de France amateur 2. So, on 15 June 2007, a five-year contract was signed. According to it, the football player would be kept with the club until 2012.
In the 2007/2008 season, a head coach took a decision to promote Fabien to the starting XI. On 1 September 2007, he appeared on the field as a sub in a match against Strasbourg. That was his debut for the team. He played 11 games during the season, one of them as a starter and nine as a substitute.
In 2012, his services were secured by Doncaster Rovers until the end of the season. Fabien had made four appearances as a sub, before he was promoted to the main team. That happened on 30 March 2012 in a game with Bimingham City. His first goal for Doncaster was scored to Portsmouth on 14 April 2012.
Robert was capped to the U-21 squad in a FIFA. On 25 May 2009, he took part in the 2009 Mediterranean Games as a member of the U-20 team.
