Igor Lebedenko was born on 27 May 1983 in Moscow. He currently plays as a midfielder for the Russian Premier League club FC Terek Grozny.
Igor began his career in the youth team of Torpedo Moscow before joining the first team of the club in 2000. He scored 17 goals in 73 matches during his four-year stint at the club.
In 2005, the footballer had a short spell at FC Lokomotiv Moscow as he didn’t manage to gain a foothold in the new team. As a result, after a new coach began training Lokomotiv, in 2006 Lebedenko moved to FC Saturn Moscow Oblast. He made a total of 7 goals and 57 appearances for Saturn during his two-year tenure there. In 2009, Lebedenko signed a one-year deal with FC Rostov amassing 59 league matches by the end of the 2009/2010 season. In 2011, the footballer continued his career at FC Rubin Kazan. In 2012, Lebedenko moved to FC Terek Grozny.
