Ilya Halyuza is a professional Ukrainian footballer, born on November 16, 1979 in Arkhangelsk, RSFSR, Soviet Union.
Ilya Halyuza made his first steps in football at the sports school of Zorya Luhansk FC. His professional career started at the same club in 1997.
In 2001 the footballer moved to Odessa to play for Chornomorets Odesa FC which was followed by Dnepr Mogilev FC (Belarus). In 2004 the midfield player was loaned to Oryol FC, but was fielded only once.
In 2006 Ilya Halyuza signed up with Šiauliai FK (Lithuania) and became the second best goal-scorer and the best mercenary in the A Lyga (the top division in Lithuania) in the season of 2006/2007.
In 2007 the footballer returned to the Ukraine and signed for Tavriya Simferopol SC. Over 4 seasons the midfielder appeared in 68 matches and scored 4 goals; he also won the Ukrainian Cup in season of 2009/2010.
In 2012 Ilya Halyuza joined Zorya Luhansk FC, having signed a two-year contract.
In 2014 he switched for a Belarusian side Shakhtar Soligorsk.
