Jaime Simões is a defender of Beira-Mar. He was born on 11 June 1989 in Santarém, Portugal.
The defender emerged through different youth academies of Portugal however he finished his football formation at the academy of Beira-Mar. From 2006 to 2008 Jaime was a product of this Portuguese academy where he played with one of the youth squads. During two years he gained enough experience to start his career in professional football.
In 2008 the management of Beira-Mar offered the footballer to sign a professional contract. Jaime realized that it was the beginning of a new stage in his career, not just graduating to the main team. In the summer 2008 the defender penned his first professional contract under which he continues to play for this Portuguese outfit. In the 2008/09 season he was sent on loan to Avanca. For a season the young Portuguese footballer scored once in 10 matches showing quite good results as a centre back. The 2009/10 season he also spent in Avanca. During two seasons he made 22 appearances overall for this club.
After returning from loan in the summer 2010, the defender started to earn a place in the starting XI of Beira-Mar. During this time the Portuguese defender got a chance to play more than 30 games and managed to kick 1 goal. Jaime Simões continues to play for Beira-Mar which finished the 2011/12 season at the bottom of the table avoiding top level relegation for the next season.
