Javier Fuego is a Spanish football striker currently playing for Valencia. He was born on 4 January 1984 in Pola de Siero, Spain.
Javi started out his football grooming in 1997 at the youth system of Sporting de Gijón. In 2001 he was invited to the main squad where he initially played for the reserves. In between 2002 and 2007, Fuego made 114 appearances for the first team. In the 2007/08 season, Javi played in La Liga for the top-flight club Levante until in August of 2008 Recreativo signed the player offering him a three-year contract. During two seasons Fuego was a high-key player of the team, however after Recreativo relegated to the Segunda he left for Rayo Vallecano.
In 2013 Javi Fuego switched for Valencia.
Javier Fuego was an international for Spain at various age levels amassing all in all 11 appearances for the youth teams.
