An Argentinian footballer Jesús Alberto Dátolo plays as a winger for Internacional. He was born on 19 May 1984 in Carlos Spegazzini.
Alberto started his youth career in 2000, when he joined the academy of Cañuelas. In half a year, the young footballer moved to the academy of Banfield, where the last two years of his junior career passed. In 2004, Dátolo switched to the club’s senior team. He made 41 appearances and netted 6 goals during 2 years. In 2009, he moved to Europe, where he joined the Italian club – Napoli. The winger was out of the head coach’s plan, that’s why a range of loans followed. At first, Alberto served loan to Olympiacos and then to Espanyol. In 2011, the management of the temporary club insisted on buying the winger’s contract out. Alberto spent another season with Espanyol, featuring in 5 matches only. In 2012, the footballer moved to Brazil, where he started playing for Internacional. He’s already made more than 20 appearances as the squad’s starter.
On 12 August 2009, Dátolo debuted at the international level for Argentina in a match with Russia. He also scored his first international goal during that game.
