Kamil Glik is a Polish centre-back who currently plays for Torino F.C. He was born on February 3, 1988 in the city of Jastrzębie Zdrój, Poland.
In his teenage years Kamil played with Jastrzębie Zdrój and Wodzisław Śląski. The year of 2005 saw him sign his first full-time contract with Silesia Lubomia. During the 2006-2008 period the imposing stopper defended the colours of Horadada and Real Madrid C. On August 6, 2008 the Polish side Piast Gliwice confirmed the signing of the highly promising young talent on a four-year deal. At the end of the month Glik made his first appearance in the Ekstraklasa, coming off the bench. He fired two goals in 54 outings for Piast Gliwice. And it was there that the Pole came to the attention of some Europe`s elite clubs.
In July 2010, Palermo captured the signing of Kamil Glik. But he didn`t enjoy regular football there and decided to move on loan to Bari on December 28, 2010. His debut arrived on January 6, 2011 when Bari outplayed Lecce.
On July 2011 Torino finalized the co-ownership agreement with Palermo for the Polish centre-back.
Glik won international honours for Poland at U-19 and U-21 levels. In January 2010 he was included into the Poland national squad for the King`s Cup fixture against Thailand.
