Lai Yiu Cheong is a Hong Kong professional midfielder.
The product of Hong Kong Rangers youth system, Lai joined the first team of the club in 2006. In 2008, he moved to Fourway where he scored his maiden goal in a match against Tuen Mun Progoal in October 2008. However, Lai Yiu Cheong wasn’t given much playing time at the club and that became a catalyst for his move to TSW Pegasus where he scored 5 goals in 43 appearances during a three-year stint at the club. In the summer 2012, the player signed for Tuen Mun. In January 2014 he switched for Sun Hei.
Lai Yiu Cheong represented Hong Kong U-23 team since 2008 till 2010. Since 2009, he is also capped to the senior Hong Kong side. He was part of the team that won East Asian Games in 2009.
