Michail Antonio is a midfielder of Reading. He was born on 28 March 1990 in Wandsworth, England.
Michael’s professional career took off in 2003, when he penned his first senior contract with Tooting & Mitcham United. The footballer performed for the club during three years, but was not the anchor player and made only 45 appearances. However, Antonio found the net 33 times, which became a kind of a specific personal record.
In 2008 Michael finalized a long-term deal with Reading. After six months in the new club, the midfielder went on loan to his previous team, Tooting & Mitcham United, where he took part in nine matches and fired seven goals. After his loan spell in the native club ended, the footballer took final leave and joined Cheltenham Town, where he featured in nine games as well.
Later Antonio finalized a season-long loan deal with Southampton and scored three goals in 28 games for the temporary club. In 2011 the footballer continued his performing practice in Colchester United, made 15 appearances and amassed four goals. In January 2012, Michael was sent on loan to Sheffield Wednesday, where the midfielder spent the bright second half of the 2011/2012 season, featured in 14 games and went on to net five times.
