Moussa Konaté is a forward, playing for FC Krasnodar. He was born on 3 April 1993 in Senegal. In the early childhood Moussa Konaté moved to Israel, where he began his professional career.
His first professional club was Maccabi Tel Aviv. He debuted for the club in July 2011 in the Europa League, and immediately scored a goal. Moussa also did well in the Israeli championship by scoring 5 goals in 29 appearances for Maccabi.
The world learned about the talented forward in 2012, when Moussa was part of Senegal Olympic squad. Scoring five goals in four appearances for the Senegal Olympic, the player attracted the attention of various clubs, but the one to eventually claim the striker was Russian Premier League side FC Krasnodar, which signed the Senegalese for three years.
Moussa Konaté played for Senegal U20 and U23, with a total of 8 caps and 5 goals. Since 2012 he defends the colors of the senior national team.
