Nikolay Dimitrov is a Bulgarian footballer currently playing as a midfielder for the Turkish Süper Lig side Kasımpaşa. He was born on 15 October 1987 in Ruse, Bulgaria.
The product of Levski Sofia youth system Nikolay embarked on his professional career at the parent club in 2004. He made a total of 18 goals in 89 matches during a six-year stint at the club. Together with his team Nikolay won the Bulgarian Cup in 2007 and three Bulgarian Supercups in 2005, 2007 and 2009.
On 15 May 2010, Dimitrov signed a contract with Turkish Kasımpaşa. The footballer made his debut for the club in a match against Gaziantepspor on 14 August 2010. The first goal was scored on 20 November 2010 in a game against Gençlerbirliği.
Nikolay Dimitrov is capped to the Bulgaria national team since 2008. On 6 February 2008 he made his international debut in a friendly match against Northern Ireland that took place in Belfast.
