Óscar Serrano Rodríguez is a Spanish winger.
This footballer started his career when he was 20 playing for an amateur club named Vilobí. Then he moved to a club Guixols that played in the regional championship. In 2002 Óscar was transferred to Figueres that played in the Segunda B division where he was noticed by the scouts of Espanyol. So having spent 58 games with 5 goals for Figueres he moved to the team from Barcelona for a transfer fee of only €18.000. Rodríguez spent one season playing for Espanyol making 30 appearances with 2 goals for the Catalan club. That season they took their 5th position and qualified for the UEFA Cup avoiding the knock-out stage.
In 2005/06 Rodríguez was transferred to Racing de Santander. Having spent one season for the team he made 34 appearances and scored three times that helped Racing qualify for the UEFA Cup group stage, their first since the establishment of the club. However due to rude behaviour on the pitch Óscar was frequently awarded yellow and red cards.
He made 33 appearances during the season 2009/10 and netted 3 goals. On April 25, 2010 he started against Villarreal but got a severe injury of anterior cruciate ligament. When Óscar recovered he was unable to struggle for a place in the starting eleven. Having spent 177 games for Racing he moved to Levante on January 24, 2012. He featured in 6 games for the team from Valencia during the second half of the season 2011/12. In 2013 Oscar was released from the club.
Later on he joined Deportivo Alaves.
