Özgür Çek is a footballer playing for Eskisehirspor. He was born on January 3, 1991 in Erbaa, Turkey. His youth career started in 2002 at a local club called Maltepespor not far from his home. In 2004 his skills and achievements caught the eye of Pendikspor and the young footballer was transferred to the club for 2 years. In 2006 Özgür Çek was offered a contract with three clubs: Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray.
In the end, the player gave preference to Fenerbahçe and joined the club, having started playing football professionally. In an interview the footballer admitted that playing for the club had been his ultimate dream. Özgür Çek stayed with the team till 2009 and made 17 goals in 48 matches. Afterwards the player moved to Ankaraspor, where he stayed for 1 year. In 2010 Özgür Çek was loaned to Ankaragücü.
Since 2012 the footballer played at Fenerbahçe. His debut took place on January 9, 2012 in a match against Gaziantepspor, when he came in on the 90th minute. Later on he joined Eskisehirspor.
