Pape Sow is a defensive midfielder of Elazigspor. He was born on 2 December 1985 in Dakar, Senegal.
From 2003 to 2005 Sow was trained at the academy of Strasbourg where he finished his youth career. In 2005 the footballer started his career in professional football with Sochaux. Sow spent the 2005/2006 season in his new team where he took part only in 1 match.
In 2006 the footballer moved to another French club Entente where he spent two successful seasons. Pape periodically earned a place in the starting eleven and kicked 5 goals in 38 matches for this French side.
The 2008/2009 season he spent in Châteauroux. His career in this French team had its ups and downs because the footballer didn’t receive enough playing time and was used mainly as a reserve player. For a season the Senegalese footballer made 12 appearances for Châteauroux.
In the summer 2009 the footballer moved to the Portuguese side União de Leiria where he spent two seasons. During this time Pape failed to come on the pitch. In 2010 Pape officially joined Académica. From 2010 to 2012 he featured in 34 matches for his new team. In 2012 Pape Sow committed his future with the Greek club Panathinaikos.
One year later the Senegalese moved to a Turkish side Elazigspor.
