Reiner Ferreira Correa Gomes is a defender of Académica. He was born on 17 November 1985 in São Paulo, Brazil.
In 2006 Reiner began playing professionally for Assisense where the defender spent half a year. In the first half of 2007 the footballer changed his team moving to Juventude where he spent another half a year. In the summer 2007 Gomes sealed a deal with the Brazilian side Anápolis where he played for the first half of the next season being utilized mainly as a substitute.
At the beginning of 2008 Reiner Gomes joined the Brazilian club Paranavaí where he spent smaller part of the season and in the summer 2008 he moved to Criciúma. The footballer spent little time with his new club failing to play a single match. After that he signed for the Arab club Al Wasl where for the first time he spent a complete season as a first team player.
In the summer 2009 Gomes was purchased by the Brazilian club América-RJ for which he played during half a year. At the beginning of 2010 the footballer left for Juventude, where he spent half a season. Later on he joined another Brazilian outfit Camboriú where he spent the 2nd half of the 2009/2010 season. In 2011 the footballer played for Guarani, ASA and by the end of 2011 he had moved to Corinthians from Brazil.
In January 2012 the footballer moved to Portugal where he played for Académica in the 2nd half of the 2011/2012 campaign. In the summer 2012 this club acquired the player’s rights and signed a professional agreement with Reiner.
