Ricardo Faty is a Senegalese international midfielder currently playing for AC Ajaccio. He was born on 4 August 1986 in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, France.
He began his football grooming at Strasbourg, joining the first team of the club in 2005. In between 2006 and 2010, Ricardo had a four-year spell in Italy playing for Roma. However, during this time he had a short loan stint at the German side Bayer Leverkusen in 2007 and a season-long loan at Nantes. At Nantes, Faty showed good playing abilities amassing 41 matches for the 2008/09 season.
In the 2010-2012 seasons the footballer performed for the Greek club Aris. There he appeared on the pitch quite regularly amassing 47 games for a two-year spell. During these seasons Ricardo put it at the back of the net three times.
In the summer of 2012, the footballer moved to Ajaccio.
Since 2012, Ricardo Faty is capped to the Senegal national team.
