Ryoichi Maeda is a Japanese striker who plays for Júbilo Iwata in the J. League Division 1. He was born on 9 October 1981 in Kobe, Japan.
Ryoichi embarked on his professional career at Júbilo Iwata in 2000 and plays for the team till the date. Overall, he scored 159 goals in 380 appearances in all competitions for the club since 2000 till 2012. In 2010, Maeda became an instrumental figure for his side as they won the J. League Cup. Thanks to his outstanding performances, the striker was called the J. League Top Scorer in the 2009 and 2010 seasons with 20 and 17 goals respectively.
Ryoichi Maeda is capped to the Japan national team since 2007. He was part of the team who won the AFC Asian Cup in 2011.
