A Spanish footballer Sergio Mora Sánchez performs as a midfielder for AD Alcorcón. Sergio was born on 30 August 1979 in Madrid.
Mora’s junior career passed at the youth academy of Rayo Vallecano. In 1999, after finishing his formation, the midfielder joined Rayo B team, which turned to be a starting point for his professional career. The footballer spent only a season with the team and the rest of the spell passed serving loans to several clubs. In 2000, Sergio agreed on a temporary deal with Gandía. The 2000/2001 season was lined with 23 appearances made and one goal scored. In 2001, another loan followed. That time the player defended the colors of Getafe. He racked up three goals in 21 games for the temporary side. In 2002, Mora joined the main team of Rayo Vallecano. The spell was lined with 21 appearances made.
In 2003, the footballer moved to Hércules. At first, Sergio made only occasional appearances for the team, but it turned to be enough for the head coach to notice him. Very soon he became the first-choice midfielder and started to make frequent appearances. Altogether, Mora scored one goal in 69 matches for Hércules. In 2006, the footballer’s contract was bought out by Benidorm. The 2006/2007 season was lined with one ball netted in 30 games for the club.
The 2007/2008 season would find Sergio defending the colors of Alcoyano. He managed to display a solid performance during his debut season and the club’s management extended his contract. Altogether, the spell was lined with 68 appearances made and seven goals racked up. In the summer 2009, Mora joined AD Alcorcón. The move turned to be a success, as the footballer quickly turned into the team’s anchor player. He appeared 95 times and netted nine goals during three seasons.
