Sergio Pellissier is a striker for A.C. ChievoVerona. He was born on 12 April 1979 in Aosta, Italy.
Sergio’s professional career started in 1996 after he joined Torino first team. During 2 seasons at Torino Pellissier made mere 1 appearance.
In 1998 Sergio was loaned to Varese, where by 2000 he appeared in 53 matches and scored 9 goals.
In 2000 the Italian striker signed for Chievo, which became the most successful stage of his career. After the debut 2000/01 season at Chievo, the club management decided to loan Pellissier to SPAL where the striker fully realized his potential by scoring 17 goals in 44 matches.
After the successful loan spell Sergio returned to Chievo and was frequently allowed in the starting lineup. Since 2002 Sergio is one of the mainstays of Chievo attack, with 313 appearances and 100 goals as of September 2012.
In 2009 Sergio Pellissier was called up to represent Italy and netted 1 goal in a single appearance for the national team.
