Serhiy Harashchenkov was born on 16 May 1990 in Novohrodivka, Ukraine.
In 2003-2006 he played for FC Olimpik Donetsk at the youth level. In 2006 started his professional career in FC Shakhtar-3 Donetsk.
During the 2010/11 season Serhiy was promoted to the FC Shalhtar’s first-team squad and registered for the Ukrainian Premier League fixtures.
In 2011 the player moved to FC Amkar Perm. The player made his debut appearance with the first-team of the Perm club during the match against FC Terek Grozny, coming off the bench as a substitute. Serhiy first appeared in starting XI some time later during the Russian Premier League fixture against FC Tom Tomsk, playing as a right full-back instead of Zahari Sirakov, who was sidelined because of serious injury.
In 2013 the young player repatriated and joined Karpaty Lviv.
