Sloan Privat is a striker. He was born on 24 July 1989 in French Guiana.
The player’s youth career began from a local FC Marmande 47 in 1999. He started his education at a small club’s academy and played for the youth team at the same time. Not once he tried to win the champions title in various youth tournaments. In 2002 the striker was noticed by the scouts from Sochaux. Sloan was called up to a tryout where he participated in a friendly match among youth teams. Privat’s playing style was to the scouts’ liking and they offered him a place at their football academy. Until 2007 he actively trained at the club’s academy and starred for the youth team.
In 2007 the striker was awarded a contract with Sochaux. It was the first contract in his career which opened great facilities in professional football. In the summer of 2007 he signed with the club a lasting contract keeping him at the club at present. The player periodically appeared in the starting lineup but not so often as he had expected.
In 2010 the club’s management resolved to give the striker out on loan. Clermont Foot from Ligue 2 became his interim club. During the 2010/11 season Sloan tried to prove that he is a talented and promising player. A French striker participated in 36 matches and scored 20 goals.
As soon as Privat returned to Sochaux he continued to play in the starting lineup. However Division 1 was considerably different from Ligue 2. As a result he did not manage to net many goals.
In 2013 Privat completed a move to a Belgian side Gent. One year later he switched for Caen.
In 2011 he was once capped to the France U-21 national team.
