A Portuguese footballer Vitor da Silva plays as a midfielder for Sporting Lisbon. He was born on 7 January 1984 in Penafiel.
His professional career started in 2002, when a contract with the local club Penafiel was signed. Vitor graduated from the club’s academy.
The 2003/2004 season would find him performing for Lousada. He became one of the team’s anchor players and made starts almost in all fixtures.
In the summer 2005, Vitor ended his Lousada spell with Paredes move. He spent a season with the club, making only rare appearances as a starter. The majority of matches Silva spent on the bench as an unused sub.
In the summer 2006, the footballer was welcomed back to Penafiel, where he stayed for another four seasons. In 2011, Vitor was bought out by Paços de Ferreira from Primeira Liga. After two years with the club the player was offered to join Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon in 2013.
